I was reading an article about Fredrick Franck, the once dentist, who later became an artist. He said, "Now open your eyes and focus on whatever you observed before — that plant or leaf or dandelion. Look it in the eye, until you feel it looking back at you. Feel that you are alone with it on Earth! That it is the most important thing in the universe, that it contains all the riddles of life and death. It does! You are no longer looking, you are seeing." I try not to take things in life for granted anymore. My cats are very special to me, and that is why I have included Banjo's picture on my blog. Cats are also very mystical creatures, and they seem to understand more than is on the surface. Like Franck said, when you look something in the eye, it does hold the riddle to the universe.
