The Creative Power of Sunrise

I have always loved sunrises, and I took this photograph this morning hoping to catch the sun just before it came up over the hills in the background. The sky was blue and the sun was turning golden. Summer is turning into fall, and so change of the seasons. My father always loved fall. I think in some ways, he must have had a creative spirit. He used to talk about the color of the leaves.
Although I do not long for the cold winter months, there is beauty in the deep azure September sky. There is also beauty in the first snow flakes, and there is beauty in the first sign of spring.
I think the important thing, for me anyway, is to try to remember that there is always beauty nearby even outside my front door.
