What our we so afraid of? I found this image that someone had scribbled onto a picnic table in a nearby park. It says, "Save our planet?" The only reason that our planet would need to be saved is that people put these kinds of fearful thoughts out into the world. I even took a picture of it because it was intriguing. Many people let their fears run away with them.
Today I was listening to the radio about the protestors camped out who are moving back home with their parents.
Some people are afraid to leave their home because of crime. Look at the Penn State incident and the destruction that was left in the aftermath their. But for every ugly thing, their is a beautiful flower, a bird, a blue sky. If we look outside and see a rainbow, hear the birds chirping, or can watch the sun rise, then everything must be ok. We live in an incredible Universe that cares for us. Yes there are some things that are scary, but if that is what we focus on that is what we will get.
We must look beyond the forest, and see the beauty of a field of lilies. It is with us right now.
